Shop Newsletter
Can it possibly be the Holiday season is almost upon us again!! The leaves are already changing as we prepare to send this newsletter, so it must be true! Here at the shop, we will continue to work on the ornaments that will decorate this year's Festival of Trees donation, and hope you will be able to join us as we help raise funds for this annual Kennedy Krieger event. We will hold one final UFO/Pajama Party event for the year, and host our annual Holiday Open House. We look forward to seeing you, and wishing you wonderful holidays!

Festival of Trees 2008 – This will be our fourth year to participate in the Festival of Trees fund raiser for the Kennedy Krieger Institute. Thanks to those who have already helped make this year's ornaments, and if you would still like to participate there will be another opportunity on Sat., Nov. 15 here at the shop. We will have machines and supplies out for you to use from 10:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.. Whatever time you have to sew will be appreciated. The Festival of Trees event will be held the Friday, Saturday and Sunday after Thanksgiving in the Cow Barn at the Maryland State Fairground in Timonium. Be sure to go – it's a great family event for a great cause!
UFO's In Your Jammies - This year's final “UnFinished Objects” night will be Friday, Nov. 14. Bring one of yours along to another night of fun and quilting or work on the Festival of Trees ornaments! The time is 6 to 10 p.m. Bring a snack to share – we will supply beverages. Space is limited, so call early to reserve your space. Come comfortable – jammies allowed!
Main Street Quilters – There will be no October meeting, and the November meeting will be on Friday, Nov. 21. The Holiday Party is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 12. Interested visitors are always welcome. Call the shop for more details.
Holiday Open House – Our annual open house is scheduled for Sat., Dec. 13. Be sure to stop by for delicious cookies and punch, and as a special holiday treat, we will be double stamping your Frequent Buyer Cards for any purchases made on that date. If you have a Frequent Buyer Card to redeem, you will receive a 20% discount that day!
Holiday Closing – Shop will be closed Wed., Dec. 24 until Fri., Jan 2. We will be having a big sale on Jan 2 and Jan 3. Stay tune for further details.
First Saturday Sale – On the first Saturday of each month finish a bolt of regular price fabric and save 25%; and all sale fabrics will be 40% off that day, with a half yard minimum fabric cut.
Back Room Sale – The regular discount on our sale fabrics continues to be 30%. In addition, we have a selection of books and notions that are 40% off. We also have selected cuts of fabric that are priced at 6 yards for $25. It's a great way to get that backing you need to complete your quilt.
